The Neufert Architects

Prof. Ernst Neufert wrote the Bauentwurfslehre in 1936 as an aid for students and architects and a guideline for constructing houses. The book is reprinted regularly and has been translated into 18 different languages.

The works of Ernst Neufert and his son, Peter Neufert, are an important piece of German architectural history. The goal of our trust is to keep the memory of their work alive.

In Weimar, the trust cares for the Neufert Haus, which was built in 1929, as well as the Neufert Box, which is used as a gallery. We stand in close contact with the Bauhaus-Universität-Weimar and regularly support the university by cultural events relating to architecture, design and music.
